These clinics offer residents first-hand learning in diverse clinical settings. LLU Children’s Hospital

Our Children's Hospital has 364 beds, over 18,000 annual admissions and over 172,000 annual outpatient visits. Ours is the only children's hospital in the region and serves 1.2 million children. The 84-bed Level-IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of the largest in the country. The hospital has been recognized for award winning care and has been named a Top Children's Hospital by the Leapfrog Group in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. The Children's Hospital is also known for pioneering treatments, including the first infant heart transplantation performed in 1984.

Riverside University Health System

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is the main clinical training site for the Primary Care Track. What started in 1893 as Riverside County's first general hospital is now a 439-bed Medical Center. The pediatrics portion of the hospital includes a 21-bed general pediatric unit, an 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and a 32-bed Level-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit..

Social Action Community Health System

SAC is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) that provides health care accessibility to medically underserved people throughout our community. Residents rotate at SAC's main site in San Bernardino at the general pediatric clinic for their outpatient clinic months as well as for continuity clinic throughout their training.
