Application Information

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

  • Applicant is a graduate of a BSN or MSN program.
  • Applicant is BSN-prepared RN with a total of less than 12 months of nursing experience in any area by the start of the program.
  • Applicant has a valid BLS for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association. NO EXCEPTIONS. A valid American Heart Association BLS card must be presented at the time of hire.
  • The listed required certifications will be discussed upon hiring prior to the start of the program**
    • Recommend completing all required certifications prior to the start of the RN Residency program
  • Spring 2022 Cohort:
    • Last day for NCLEX completion is Friday, March 4, 2022
    • A CA RN License must be issued to each applicant by Monday, March 14, 2022
  • Fall 2022 cohort:
    • Last day for NCLEX completion is Friday, August 14, 2022
    • A CA RN License must be issued to each applicant by Monday, August 22, 2022.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

Two letters of recommendation (preferably on letterhead) need to be attached to your application.

  • Preferred: Two letters from clinical instructors
  • If only one letter from a clinical instructor can be obtained, you may attach a second letter of recommendation from an employer

INTERVIEW PROCESS
