Champions for Children

Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and the Champions of the hospital are partnering together to provide special care for the children of our community. With nearly 160,000 children visiting the hospital each year, we know how important it is for kids to feel comfortable while receiving care. To us, helping children learn and grow is not just something we believe ... it is something we live.

Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital corporate giving program consists of corporations and support organizations that have committed to an annual gift benefiting Children’s Hospital! Since 1997, Champions have raised more than $10,000,000 and have continued to help in our fight to bring world-class healthcare to the children of our community. The program offers its Champion for Children a variety of recognition opportunities within the hospital as well as throughout the community.

Team Fundraisers

Put the FUN in fundraise by rallying your team to do something great for the community! There are lots of fun ways to raise funds as a team, or even a simple small paycheck deduction can make an impact.

Sponsor an Event

We often have outdoor events where local companies bring a really fun and different experience for the patients. Examples are “Cops Fly In,” and the “Big Air Bike Show.” You could even host a small activity booth or fun giveaway for the kids with a charitable donation.

Community Day

Gather your team and bring items to facilitate an activity with patients in the hospital during one of our community days. No food or drinks please. We would love to have you!

Customer Fundraiser

Many of our partners round-up the change at point of sale, donate a portion of sales or donate full value of an item sold within a month, such as a certain cookie or a menu item. Charity golf tournaments or barbecues with an opportunity drawing are also a fun way to raise funds! We are happy to schedule a check presentation photo with you as well.

Gifts in Kind

The Child Life team has a goal of making patients feel comfortable and happy during their stay. Their department welcomes donations of certain toys and craft items.
