Champions for Children

Since 1997, the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital "Champions" program, comprised of corporations and support organizations, has pledged annual gifts to benefit the hospital. The program has raised over $10 million to support world-class healthcare for our community’s children. Champions receive recognition within the hospital and throughout the community in appreciation for their commitment to children’s health. We love collaborating with our champions, supporting their events, and innovating new fundraising strategies for the Children's Hospital.

How Can My Business Offer Support?

Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and local businesses are teaming up to enhance care for our community's children. With nearly 160,000 annual visits, the foundation strives diligently to expand resources for the hospital. Your creative fundraising ideas help purchase equipment and fund leading-edge research that is so important, especially with cancer. Supporting the hospital not only helps our children, but also enables you to clearly demonstrate your community commitment.

Team Fundraisers

Put the FUN in fundraise by rallying your team to do something great for the community! There are lots of fun ways to raise funds as a team, or even a simple small paycheck deduction can make an impact.

Sponsor an Event

We often have outdoor events where local companies bring a really fun and different experience for the patients. Examples are “Cops Fly In,” and the “Big Air Bike Show.” You could even host a small activity booth or fun giveaway for the kids with a charitable donation.

Community Day

Gather your team and bring items to facilitate an activity with patients in the hospital during one of our community days. No food or drinks please. We would love to have you!

Customer Fundraiser

Many of our partners round-up the change at point of sale, donate a portion of sales or donate full value of an item sold within a month, such as a certain cookie or a menu item. Charity golf tournaments or barbecues with an opportunity drawing are also a fun way to raise funds! We are happy to schedule a check presentation photo with you as well.

Gifts in Kind

The Child Life team has a goal of making patients feel comfortable and happy during their stay. Their department welcomes donations of certain toys and craft items.
