Since 1997, the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital Champions program has united corporations and supported organizations in a shared mission to enhance healthcare for children. Through annual gifts, the program has raised over $12 million to support world-class care at the hospital. Champions for Children, who donate $5,000 or more annually, receive recognition both within the hospital and throughout the community in appreciation of their commitment to children’s health.

As a Champion, your business can support the hospital in a variety of ways, including donating a percentage of customer transactions or sponsoring one of our patient diversionary events. We also offer recognition opportunities to showcase your generous contribution. Whether you have creative fundraising ideas or want to collaborate on special events, we are eager to work with you to drive impactful change. Supporting the hospital not only helps our children but also demonstrates your strong commitment to community well-being.

With nearly 160,000 annual visits, we are dedicated to advancing care, especially in critical areas like pediatric cancer research and treatment. We often have outdoor events where local companies bring a really fun and different experience for the patients. Examples are “Cops Fly In,” and the “Big Air Bike Show.” You could even host a small activity booth or fun giveaway for the kids with a charitable donation.

Many of our partners round-up the change at point of sale, donate a portion of sales or donate full value of an item sold within a month, such as a certain cookie or a menu item. Charity golf tournaments or barbecues with an opportunity drawing are also a fun way to raise funds! We are happy to schedule a check presentation photo with you as well.
