Characterization in Vitamin D Status and Metabolism in Preeclampsia

This study aims to help us understand more about the potential link between vitamin D deficiency and a common complication of late pregnancy – preeclampsia.  Preeclampsia can lead to serious or life-threatening problems for the mother and/or baby. We hope that this research will help us to identify potential causes of preeclampsia that may eventually lead to prevention or cure.
